CLEMSON POLICE: Attempt to Identify Burglary Suspect
CITY OF CLEMSON, SC – On Friday, August 2nd, 2024 at 0920 hours, the Clemson Police Department received a 911 call from a homeowner who observed a subject on their video surveillance system attempting to enter their house. The subject walked up to a rear door, attempted to open it and then walked away. CPD Officers immediately responded to the area and found another house nearby that was entered. Officers conducted a search of the Crestwood Neighborhood with the assistance of Anderson County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Team and the Clemson University Police Department but was unable to locate the suspect. Neighbors reported an unusual gray sedan parked in the neighborhood just prior to this incident that was no longer in the area when officer’s arrived. The suspect is a white female, brown or red hair, last seen wearing a brown tank top, blue jeans, brown boots, white Clemson baseball cap latex type gloves, and carrying a small dog.
